@eladar saidThe correct spelling is coronavirus. Corona because it has a crown like appearance, from the same root as coronet and coronation. The second letter is an "o".
As an educator I have been seeing for a while now the push to get rid of the schools and have kids learn from videos.
Governments can save a lot of money if they can close down schools and cut down on the number of teachers.

Using a crisis to achieve a political goal makes much more sense.

Yeah, not sure if that is my phone or me. I usually go back and correct it. In any case, the spelling of the virus is no big deal. I know it is a typical distraction some like to make on discussion boards.
As far as I am concerned this virus is best spelled inconvenient government take over of society.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidReally? Is he raising children? Most likely the answer is no. Most gay men living a gay lifestyle are not raising children. Why should they?
Enough to negate your statement.

The infection fatality ratio is something around 0.657% (0.389,1.33) [1], which of itself isn't much but the virus is extremely transmissible and you can see health system collapse, where hospitals become overloaded and people who would not have die of things other than coronavirus disease because the hospitals can't cope. Although I agree that it's tedious, I was planning a trip to London to see people and that's shelved for something like three months now.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidOh yeah, sorry for asking you a math question. You are incapable of actually doing that so can only make a smart ass* remark as if you were actually knew something.
Enough to negate your statement.
Actually that describes what you and your buddies do around here.
@eladar saidHomosexual? Have you something you need to get off your chest?
Clearly I have raised two children, I am not the homosexual here.
